G-III Apparel Group, Ltd. (NASDAQ: GIII) gained 6 percent after the bell Tuesday to $63.53. The New York-based maker of clothing and accessories posted first quarter results and an improved outlook.

Wi-LAN Inc. (NASDAQ: WILN) gained about 3.7 percent after hours to $2.53. The intellectual property licensing company closed up about 15 percent earlier on news it had acquired a patent portfolio from Infineon Technologies AG (OTC: IFNNY) for $33 million.

Ambarella Inc (NASDAQ: AMBA) gained about 1.6 percent to $93.70 after the company posted first quarter results.

HollyFrontier Corp (NYSE: HFC) rose nearly 1 percent after the bell Tuesday. The Dallas-based petroleum refiner didn't issue any news.

Cencosud SA (NYSE: CNCO) dipped 3.8 percent to $7.50 in the extended session. The South American retailer didn't issue any news.
