Pandora P announced that it has agreed to acquire online music analytics provider, Next Big Sound. Terms were not disclosed. Pandora shares fell $0.08 Tuesday, to close at $18.22. HC2 Submits Merger Proposal Revision to MCG Capital The Offer:
HC2 Holdings, Inc. (NYSE MKT: HCHC) announced Tuesday, that it has sent a letter to MCG Capital Corporation MCGC is proposing again that the companies enter discussions regarding an agreement for HC2 to acquire MCG, this time $5.25 for each share of MCGC common stock outstanding including $4.75 in HC2 stock and $0.50 in cash. HC2 believes its offer is superior to the PennantPark transaction. MCG shares gained $0.08 Tuesday, closing at $4.68 Citrix Acquires Grasshopper The Deal:
Citrix CTXS announced Tuesday, that it has acquire cloud-based telephony company, Grasshopper Group, LLC,. Terms were not disclosed. Citrix closed Tuesday at $65.81, a loss of $0.11 Hearing Unconfirmed Market Chatter of GE Interest in Acquiring 3D Systems The Rumor:
3D Systems Corporation DDD rose early Tuesday, on unconfirmed market chatter of a potential bid from General Electric Company GE. According to sources, 3D Systems could sell for $36 to $42 per share. Spokespersons for GE and 3D Systems did not respond to requests for comment. 3D Systems closed Tuesday at $22.61, a loss of $0.18.
