Elon Musk: No One At Tesla Is Selling Any Shares
"Some people seem to think I tweet to affect share price. This is false. A brief rise in $TSLA stock obviously does no good for Tesla or me," Musk tweeted at 2:13 p.m. ET. "Neither I nor the company are selling shares. Even if we were, I wouldn't do this. It would be wrong. Our long term results are what matter."
Musk tweeted on Sunday that a press conference is scheduled for this Thursday to announce an end to end range anxiety.
Shares of Tesla were up more than 3 percent on Monday and continued upwards as Musk tweets were out, hitting the day's high. Shares traded recently at $195.66, up 3.7 percent.
The stock is down more than 12 percent in 2015.
