Novogen Limited (NASDAQ: NVGN) shares gained 55.02% to $3.24 on regenerative medicine program update.

Birks Group Inc. (NYSE: BGI) climbed 10.42% to $1.59 after the company reported an 11% gain in its Q3 comparable store. The company also reported a 7% rise in its comparable store sales during the holiday season.

Marlin Midstream Partners, LP (NASDAQ: FISH) shares rose 8.75% to $18.05. Marlin's general partner agreed to be acquired by Azure Midstream Energy, LLC. Marlin will acquire the Legacy gathering system from Azure for $162.5 million.

China Finance Online Co., Ltd.(NASDAQ: JRJC) shares jumped 8.64% to $5.20 after the company reported that it has entered into a strategic partnership agreement with China International Capital Corporation Limited.

Pilgrim's Pride Corporation (NASDAQ: PPC) shares rose 7.71% to $33.96 after the company announced a special cash dividend of $5.77 per share. Pilgrims Pride said in 8-K that it entered into a letter of commitment with Rabobank for up $600 million bridge facility.

Logitech International SA (NASDAQ: LOGI) climbed 5.07% to $13.92. Logitech International is expected to release Q3 financial results on Wednesday, Jan. 21, 2015.

Randgold Resources Limited (NASDAQ: GOLD) shares climbed 6.03% to $79.67 after rising 1.36% on Wednesday. Gold futures gained 1.56% to trade at $1,253.70 an ounce.

Transocean Ltd. (NYSE: RIG) shares rose 2.26% to $15.82 after dropping 0.32% on Wednesday. Crude oil futures rose 0.85% to $48.89 a barrel.

GFI Group Inc. (NYSE: GFIG) shares climbed 2.20% to $5.57 after CME Group revised its offer for GFI Group.

Target Corp. (NYSE: TGT) shares gained 1.87% to $75.72 after the company issued a favorable Q4 guidance.
