Shares of Keurig Green Mountain GMCR closed up 8.39 percent on Friday due to increased activity in short-term options.
It has been said that the increased activity was a result of speculation that The Coca-Cola Company KO could possibly seek to increase its position in Keurig. This rumor has surfaced after Coke's previously made two significant purchases of Keurig positions.
Thus far, neither company has issued a release commenting on any such plan.
Shares of Keurig dipped 1.35 percent in Monday's pre-market session.
