David Einhorn's New Short: athenahealth


Shares of athenahealth (NASDAQ: ATHN) are trading down about 7 percent in Monday's post-market session following news out of the Ira Sohn Conference that David Einhorn is now short the stock.

After closing near $127, athena shares are trading down to around $118.

Einhorn believes shares of athenahealth could fall as much as 80 percent. He sees the bull case scenario in the stock as $50 per share.

David Einhorn was the last presenter at this year's Ira Sohn Conference.

Also making headlines Monday, Chris Shumway of Shumway Capital disclosed he is long shares of Moody's (NYSE: MCO). The stock closed about 1.5 percent higher.
