Comcast CMCSA and Time Warner Cable TWC have reportedly begun negotiations with Charter Communications CHTR to sell cable assets, including 3 million-5 million subscribers, in a deal that could be worth as much as $20 billion, according to Financial Times. Comcast and Time Warner Cable are waiting for US regulatory approval for their merger, announced on February 13.
