Oracle's quarterly profit surged to $2.57 billion, or $0.56 per share, versus a year-ago profit of $2.5 billion, or $0.52 per share. Its revenue jumped to $9.31 billion versus $8.96 billion. Its adjusted profit came in at $0.68 per share.
FedEx (NYSE: FDX) shares dropped 1.71% to $136.20 in pre-market trading after the company reported downbeat Q3 earnings.
