Boeing 777 Crash-Lands at San Francisco International Airport (BA)

The New York Times
has reported that a
BoeingBA
777 has crash landed at the San Francisco International Airport. Asiana Airlines flight 214 was reportedly flying in to San Francisco from Seoul and carried 290 passengers.
David Morin
tweeted out that he was sending his prayers to the passengers on the plane, including friend David Eun, who
posted this photo
of the wrecked plane on the tarmac.

No fatalities have been reported and firefighters are on the scene helping with the fallout. The FAA has yet to provide any details on what caused the crash.

has mostly surrounded issues with the 787 Dreamliner aircraft, which has had to make several emergency landings for a myriad of reasons, mostly relating to the installed batteries.
