announced the arrival of two new Partners; Chicago based, Patricia Coleman
joins the Life Sciences Practice, and Jeff Cohn joins the Leadership
Consulting Practice in New York.

Patricia Coleman brings more than 25 years of executive search and
professional services experience to the firm with an emphasis on the Life
Sciences industry along with strong functional credentials in Legal,
Compliance and Risk Management. She has counseled and placed many senior-level
executives within the leading Life Sciences and Healthcare entities globally.
Prior to her career in search; Coleman worked at Booz Allen & Hamilton, Abbott
Laboratories and Sidley & Austin. Coleman will be a member of the firm's Life
Sciences Practice, focusing primarily on the pharmaceutical industry. Her
diverse professional background and experience adds depth to the firm's
overall expertise in a number of functional and industry practice
areas. Coleman received her bachelor's degree from Northwestern University and
holds a Master of Jurisprudence from Loyola University of Chicago School of
Law and an MBA from the University of Chicago, Graduate School of Business.
Jeff Cohn joins Heidrick & Struggles as an expert in CEO Succession Planning
and Executive Assessment, bringing more than 20 years of experience advising
boards and top management teams. Most recently, Cohn operated his own
successful and highly regarded consulting firm whose clients included a number
of Fortune 500 CEOs. Prior to this, he was a consultant in the executive
assessment group at one of the top recruitment firms. Cohn also served as a
fellow at the CEO Leadership Institute, now part of Yale University.
Cohn began his career at Harvard Business School and at INSEAD, researching
and authoring numerous cases on leadership, strategy and innovation. He is the
author of an award-winning business book, "Why We Are Bad at Picking Good
Leaders" and co-author of Harvard Business Review articles, "Growing Talent as
if Your Business Depended on It," and "Finding and Grooming Breakthrough
Innovators." Cohn graduated with a degree in Economics from Vanderbilt
University and received an MBA at Tulane University.
