UPDATE: Vanguard Health Exploring Options Related to Acute Care Program Contract

8-K: "On March 24, 2013, Vanguard Health Systems, Inc. issued a press release stating that its Phoenix, Arizona health plan subsidiary, VHS Phoenix Health Plan, LLC (“PHP”), was not awarded an acute care program contract with the Arizona Health Care Cost Containment System for the three-year period commencing October 1, 2013. PHP is exploring all of its options concerning its failure to receive an acute care program contract, and filed a formal request on March 23, 2013 to receive a capped contract in Maricopa and Pima counties.
