Australian consumer prices climbed 0.2% in the fourth quarter, according to the Australian Bureau of Statistics.
Economists expected an increase of 0.4% in the quarter. CPI rose 1.4% in the September quarter. On an annual basis, Australia's CPI climbed 2.2% in the December quarter, versus a 2% annual rise in the September quarter.
