was awarded a task order under its Strategic Services Sourcing (S3) prime contract to continue supporting the operations of the U.S. Army Communications-Electronics Command's Software Engineering Center Field Support Directorate. The award is valued at $79 million, with an initial period of performance of one year plus one six-month option. Under this follow-on task order, ManTech will assist U.S. forces with their goal of achieving full C4I system interoperability on and off the battlefield among U.S., allied, and coalition forces in Afghanistan, Iraq, and Kuwait. ManTech's field support representatives will provide network and communications engineering and installation support, and subject matter experts will perform critical support functions including property management, records management, information security, information assurance, and maintenance support.
