Omnicare Announces the Appointment of Steven Skwara as Chief Compliance Officer

today announced Steven Skwara has been appointed Chief Compliance Officer. Mr. Skwara will oversee and lead Omnicare's corporate compliance function, reporting directly to Omnicare's Board of Directors and John L. Workman, Omnicare's Interim Chief Executive Officer. He succeeds Kathleen McGuan who has served Omnicare with distinction. "We are delighted to promote Steve to Chief Compliance Officer as we continue to reinforce Omnicare's commitment to compliance," said Mr. Workman.  "With his extensive background in healthcare law and policy, we had identified him through our succession planning to lead our compliance initiatives.
