China's trade surplus shrank in July.
China's trade surplus for July fell to $25.1 billion, from $31.7 billion in June, versus expectations for a surplus of $35.2 billion.
The country's exports increased 1% y/y, while imports surged 4.7%. However, economists were expecting an 8% increase in exports and a 7% gain in imports.
