China's Mobile Subscribers Rise 1.14%

China reported a 1.14% monthly rise in mobile subscribers in June. China's mobile subscribers surged to 1.05 billion in the month. Mobile subscribers at China Mobile Ltd

surged to 683.08 million in June, including 67.08 million 3G subscribers. However, mobile subscribers at China Unicom

climbed to 219.25 million. China Telecom Corp Ltd

said its mobile subscribers rose to 144.18 million.
