Cocoa Prices Fall on Hope Ivory Coast Crisis May End Soon

Cocoa prices are falling on hopes the current crisis in the Ivory Coast may be over. President Laurent Gbagbo was taken into custody Wednesday at the International Criminal Court on charges of murder, rape, persecution and inhuman acts. He is the first former head of state to be taken into custody by the ICC since it was established in 2002 Prices recently hit a 34-year high during the conflict. Ivory Coast produces almost 40% of the world's cocoa supply. .
