DTE Energy Announces Redemption of Trust Preferred Securities

announced the full redemption of all outstanding $180,000,000 7.80% Trust Originated Preferred Securities issued by its affiliate DTE Energy Trust I due February 1, 2032 and all outstanding $100,000,000 7.50% Trust Originated Preferred Securities issued by its affiliate DTE Energy Trust II due June 1, 2044. Both series of Trust Originated Preferred Securities will be redeemed on December 29, 2011, the redemption date. The redemption price is 100% of the unpaid principal amount of the Trust Originated Preferred Securities, together with accrued and unpaid interest up to, but excluding, December 29, 2011. The Trust Originated Preferred Securities will be called for redemption in minimum denominations of $25 and in multiples of $25.
