Cliffs Natural Resources Pinnacle Mine Resumes Longwall Operations

Cliffs Natural Resources CLF announced today that longwall operations at the Company's Pinnacle Mine in West Virginia have resumed. As previously disclosed, Cliffs suspended Pinnacle Mine's longwall operations in May of 2011 due to detected levels of carbon monoxide at the mine. After working closely with regulatory agencies, operations were permitted to resume at the beginning of October.
