First Trust Specialty Finance and Financial Opportunities Fund

today increased the Fund's regularly scheduled quarterly distribution to $0.16 per share from $0.155 per share. The distribution will be payable on August 31, 2011 to shareholders of record on August 23, 2011. The ex-dividend date is expected to be August 19, 2011.
