Cyber activists who are associated with Anonymous are launching a digital campaign against websites operated by the government of Yemen, writes
TG Daily.
The latest round of attacks came just a couple days after the group showed its solidarity for the protestors in Egypt. Anonymous launches Operation Yemen"Anonymous members feel that somehow they have to support the people in those countries," PandaLabs technical director told AFP. "It is a worldwide thing. They think the goal is obtaining freedom for those countries."

Anonymous also helped bring down the Tunisian government's website, and closing the national stock exchange, while that country was going through riots. Despite the FBI saying that a crime against the DDoS is punishable with a prison term of 10 years, Anonymous continues to show its defiance and back its method of warfare. "Just as is the case with traditional forms of protest, we block access to our opponents infrastructure to get our message across. Whether or not this infrastructure is located in the real world or in cyberspace, seems completely irrelevant to us." This appears to be very similar to what happened to the
Iraninan nuclear program
last year, with the virus known as "Stuxnet." Stuxnet attacked the Iraninan nuclear program and was designed to destroy it.
