The Key To Entrepreneurial Happiness

As a principal founder of Groupon, the founder of LightBank, and the co-founder of both MediaBank and Echo Global Logistics ECHO, Brad Keywell is one of the most successful entrepreneurs in the world. But while some entrepreneurs might do it solely for the fame, the fortune, and the power that comes with forming a corporate empire, Keywell said that he does it all for one simple reason: happiness. “To me, being an entrepreneur is about happiness,” he told Benzinga during a recent interview. “For some set of people in our society, the need to create, the need to innovate, is insatiable. It's who they are.” For those people, Keywell said that there isn't any other choice but to follow your destiny. However, you must realize that not everything you do will be successful. “Understand who you are, and if in fact you are a creator – if you are an entrepreneur – then your resourcefulness will help you find all that you need,” he said.
