Energy Income and Growth Fund Prices Public Offering at $27.25 per Share

Energy Income and Growth Fund

announced today the pricing of a public offering of common shares. The Fund agreed to sell a total of 1,600,000 common shares at a price to the public of $27.25 per share. Net proceeds from the offering of approximately $41.7 million will be used to make additional portfolio investments that are consistent with the Fund's investment objective and policies, and for general corporate purposes. The offering is scheduled to close on November 24, 2010.
