Speaking on CNBC's Stock Pops & Drops, Pete Najarian said that Monster Beverage Corp. (NASDAQ: MNST) had impressive sales growth and also managed to beat earnings. The stock gained 6.68 percent on Friday, and Najarian believes that it is going even higher.
Guy Adami said that NVIDIA Corporation (NASDAQ: NVDA) had a great second quarter, and he pointed to its unbelievable gross margins. He explained that with the short interest in this stock, it will most likely make a push towards $20. NVIDIA spiked 8.82 percent on Friday and closed at $19.
Mercadolibre Inc (NASDAQ: MELI) skyrocketed 14.51 percent. Tim Seymour said that the investors were worried about the exposure the company has in Argentina and Venezuela, and they were selling before the earnings. The company managed to beat the earnings, and many were caught off guard. After this move, Tim Seymour thinks that investors should be careful.
There was no sunshine in the earnings report of SolarCity Corp (NASDAQ: SCTY), Brian Kelly said. The stock fell 7.26 percent, and closed at $70.14 on Friday. Kelly thinks that when a stock doesn't have positive earnings, it has to have growth. He doesn't see growth in SolarCity, and he would sell this stock.
