The vast majority of people won't make $1 billion throughout their entire lives, so when an individual earns $6 billion in just one day, people are naturally curious to find out how.
Vanity Fair detailed the story in which Facebook Inc FB's CEO Mark Zuckerberg raked in $6 billion in 24 hours, or $250 million per hour while Facebook users "squander each day watching sneezing baby panda videos."
Here are the details of Zuckerberg's day, according to a video made by Vanity Fair.
Zuckerberg's large pay day occurred back in January after the company's "particularly rosy" quarterly earnings report.
The alarm sounded in the Zuckerberg household at 8:00 a.m., but Mark hit the snooze button for a total of nine minutes, since he was up late speaking with programmers. During this snooze, he raked in $37.5 million.
He then went on to partake in an $83 million 20-minute jog and then cooled down in a quick shower, during which he made another $21 million.
During the time he spent kissing his wife goodbye for the day and heading off to work, he earned another cool $100,000 — but love is always priceless and has no value.
Before lunchtime, he earned another $1 billion while participating in company meetings.
Lunchtime itself added $125 million to his net worth, not to mention a commute home that netted him another $42 million.
Finally, Zuckerberg read 17 minutes of Moises Naim's "The End of Power" book before falling asleep. He added another $71 million before falling asleep for the day.
