Here's Why Disney, Inovio, Fisker, Aurora, Hyliion Are Moving

One of the most common questions traders have about stocks is “Why Is It Moving?”.

That’s why Benzinga created the Why Is It Moving, or WIIM, feature in Benzinga Pro. WIIMs are a one-sentence description as to why that stock is moving.

Here’s why shares of Disney, Inovio, Fisker, Aurora and Hyliion are moving.

Shares of Walt Disney Co (NYSE: DIS) are trading higher after the company reported better-than-expected first-quarter sales results. The company reported Disney+ subscribers as of Jan. 2, 2021 of 94.9 million versus 26.5 million in the same quarter last year.

Shares of Inovio Pharmaceuticals Inc (NASDAQ: INVO) are trading higher after Oppenheimer initiated coverage on the stock with an Outperform rating and $35 price target.

Inovio is a biotechnology company that focuses on the discovery, development, and commercialization of DNA medicines to treat, cure, and protect people from diseases associated with human papillomavirus (HPV), cancer and infectious diseases.

Shares of Fisker Inc (NYSE: FSR) are trading higher after Morgan Stanley initiated coverage on the stock with an Overweight rating and $27 price target.

Fisker designs and manufactures electric vehicles and mobility solutions. The company is headquartered in Manhattan Beach, California.

Shares of Aurora Cannabis Inc (NYSE: ACB) are trading lower after Needham downgraded the stock from Hold to Underperform.

Aurora Cannabis produces and distributes medical cannabis products worldwide.

Shares of Hyliion Holdings Corp (NYSE: HYLN) spiked to over $20 yesterday as CEO Thomas Healy tweeted news of next-gen battery launch.

The new battery can be recharged in under 8 minutes, which is “an unprecedented charge time compared to other EV battery solutions” according to the company.

The company designs, develops, and sells electrified powertrain solutions for the commercial transportation industry.

Hyliion is trading lower by 8% in the pre-market session, potentially amid profit-taking.
