EUR/USD Little Lower; French GDP Edges Up, Household Consumption Falls

EUR/USD is trading at 1.0697, down 0.0010. The French National Statistics Institute of Statistics and Economic studies (INSEE) reported that fourth quarter gross domestic product (GDP) rose 0.4 percent versus a rise in the third quarter of 0.2 percent. Year over year fourth quarter GDP in France edged up to 1.1 percent from 1 percent in the third quarter. The agency reported that French household consumption fell 0.8 percent in December versus a rise of 0.4 percent in November.
