The March U.S. Dollar Index is trading at 102.72, up 0.72. The U.S. Dollar Index has extended the session gains, trading is very active. Chatter about global headline news and comments from policy makers has kept both buyers and sellers active. The University of Michigan consumer sentiment survey is due out Friday at 10:00 a.m. ET.
