USDA Export Sales; Cotton Futures Higher

The USDA reported today that cotton weekly export sales for the current marketing year for the period ending December 22nd totaled 343,200 running bales. Sales were up 24 percent from previous week and down 15 percent from the four week average. March New York Cotton is trading at 71.09, up 0.59 cents/lb. May New York Cotton is trading at 71.45, up 0.55 cents/lb.
