EUR/USD Trading Steady

EUR/USD is trading at 1.0457, up 0.0004. The pair is trading just under the session highs as overseas forex traders prepare to wind down trading for the day. Market talk about European headline news and economic data due out Wednesday is starting to show up. Chatter about traders adjusting positions ahead of the end of the year is making the rounds. Spain's National Statistics Institute (INE) is scheduled to release retail sales data at 3:00 a.m. ET. Italy's National Institute of Statistics (ISTAT) s scheduled to report business and consumer confidence at 4:00 a.m. ET.
