Live Cattle Futures Little Changed

February live cattle is trading at 115.87, down 0.05 cents/lb. April live cattle is trading at 113.97, down 0.15 cents/lb. Live cattle futures are trading steady just after the open. Monday's USDA cattle slaughter was 113,000 head versus 112,000 head last week and 112,000 head a year ago at this time.
