Soybean Futures Trading Higher

January Soybeans are trading at 1031 1/2 , up 4 1/2 cents /bushel. January Soymeal is trading at 316.3, up 2.6 $/ton. January Soybean Oil is trading at 37.16, down 0.10 cents/lb. Soybean futures are trading just under the session highs. The USDA reported on Thursday that soybean export sales for 2016 to 2017 as of December 1st are now 77.4 percent of the agency forecast versus the five year average of 73.7 percent. Soymeal sales for the current year are 45.7 percent of the agency forecast versus the five year average of 50.7 percent. Soybean oil sales for the current year are now 45.6 percent of the forecast versus the five year average of 40.3 percent. The USDA World Agricultural Supply and Demand Estimates Report (WASDE) is due out at 12:00 p.m. ET.
