Soybean Trading Lower Ahead of USDA

January Soybeans are trading at 1003, down 8 1/4 cents/bushel. December Soymeal is trading at 312.2, down 3.5 $/ton. December Soybean Oil is trading at 35.06, down 0.25 cents/lb. Soybean futures are trading in the middle of the overnight range. Trading is modestly choppy. Market chatter about weather for Southern Hemisphere soybean growing areas and the USDA crop report due out later today is making the rounds. The USDA World Agricultural Supply and Demand Estimates Report (WASDE) is scheduled for release at 12:00 p.m. ET. China's soybean imports during October totaled 5.21 million tonnes, down 5.8 percent on the year. China imported a total of 66.4 million tonnes of soybeans from January to October, up about 1.9 percent versus a year ago.
