EUR/USD Trading Higher Ahead of Data

EUR/USD is trading at 1.1164, up 0.0047. The pair is trading choppy and some of the early session gains have eroded as overseas traders begin wind down trading for the day. Chatter about European economic data due out the rest of the week is just beginning. France's INSEE is scheduled to release inflation data at 2:45 a.m. ET and Italy's ISAT is scheduled to report balance of trade and inflation figures at 4:00 a.m. ET. Germany's Federal Statistical Office is scheduled to release gross domestic product (GDP) and inflation data Friday.
