Stock Index Futures Edge Up

September SP500 is trading at 2162.00, up 1.50. September Nasdaq 100 is trading at 4708.25, up 0.50. September Russell 2000 is trading at 1215.30, down 0.60. September Dow Industrial futures are trading at 18365, down 25. Stock index futures are trading choppy and have moved up off the session lows. Market talk about corporate news and economic due out Friday has kept buyers and sellers active. The Bureau of Economic Analysis is scheduled to release second quarter gross domestic product (GDP) at 8:30 a.m. ET. The Institute for Supply Management's (ISM) Chicago purchasing managers survey (PMI) is due out at 9:45 a.m. ET. The University of Michigan consumer sentiment survey is due out Friday at 10:00 a.m. ET.
