USDA Export Sales; Soybean, Corn Futures Trading Lower

The USDA reported today that Soybean weekly export sales for the current marketing year for the period ending July 21st totaled 1,400 tonnes. Sales for 2016 to 2017 totaled 678,200 tonnes. Corn sales for the current year were 438,800 tonnes, sales for the next year were 476,500 tonnes. Wheat sales totaled 506,100 tonnes. Soymeal sales for the current year totaled 79,200 tonnes. Sales for 2016 to 2017 were 75,100 tonnes. Soybean Oil sales for the current year totaled 6,500 tonnes. Sales for 2016 to 2017 were 3,000 tonnes. Cotton sales for 2015 to 2016 totaled 44,600 running bales. Sales for 2016 to 2017 totaled 190,100 running bales. September Soybeans are trading at 996 1/4, down 3 1/2 cents/bushel, September Corn is trading 334 3/4, down 1 cent/bushel and September Chicago Wheat is trading at 417, up 2 1/4 cents/bushel.
