September Dow Industrial futures are trading at 18400, down 78. Stock index futures are trading rangebound. Market chatter about corporate earnings is constant. The Case-Shiller home price index is due out at 9:00 a.m. ET and the Census Bureau is scheduled to report new home sales at 10:00 a.m. ET. The Conference Board consumer confidence data for July is also due out at 10:00 a.m. ET.
