USDA Monthly Cattle On Feed Report

The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) released the monthly Cattle on Feed report after the close of livestock trading. The report showed 1.525 million cattle entered (placements) U.S. feedlots during June, 103 percent of a year ago. Cattle marketed during June totaled 1.912 million head, 109 percent of last year. Cattle on feed on July 1st totaled 10,356,000 head, 101 percent of a year ago.
