Stock Index Futures Move Up

September SP500 is trading at 2168.75, up 10.00. September Nasdaq 100 is trading at 4654.00, up 47.50. September Russell 2000 is trading at 1209.10, up 10.20. September Dow Industrial futures are trading at 18539, up 59. Stock index futures are trading near the highs of the session. Market chatter about corporate earnings and economic data due out Thursday is ongoing. The European Central Bank (ECB) meets tomorrow and is scheduled to announce if there is any change to monetary policy at 7:45 a.m. ET. The Department of Labor is scheduled to release weekly jobless claims figures at 8:30 a.m. ET. The Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia's Phily Fed manufacturing survey is also due out at 8:30 a.m. ET. The National Association of Realtors (NAR) is scheduled to release existing home sales at 10:00 a.m. ET.
