USDA Daily Hog Slaughter; Hog Futures Little Lower

Wednesday's USDA Hog slaughter was 425,000 head versus a year ago at 416,000 head. August lean hogs are trading at 79.12, down 0.05 cents/lb and October lean hogs are trading at 67.55, down 0.20 cents /lb. December lean hogs are trading at 61.02, down 0.30 cents/lb Hogs futures traded choppy, some late session selling pushed prices down.
