June Crude Oil futures are trading lower by $0.50 at $44.16 in Monday's session. In pre-market trading, the contract rallied all the way to $45.94 before reversing course. That high is just shy of Thursday's high at $46.07.

The ensuing decline has taken Crude under $44, with the current low standing at $43.84. That is $0.30 above Friday's low of $43.54.
