S&P 500 Index Futures Trading Lower In Volatile Session

S&P 500 index futures were trading lower by 18 points at 1959.25 in Friday's session. Off the open, the index found support ahead of the pre-market low (1944.25), only reaching 1948.75 before rebounding to its current level.

Only one of the top 10 components of the index has gone green, but is now in the red. Apple Inc. AAPL shares were unchanged at $113.92, but reached $114.24 earlier in the session.

Leading the way on the downside is Wells Fargo Inc. WFC shares which are trading lower by $1.40 at $50.81. It is followed by another financial JP Morgan JPM shares which are trading lower by $1.58 at $61.07.
