S&P 500 Index Futures Trading Slightly Higher In Quiet Session

S&P 500 index futures were trading higher by one point at 1940.75 in Friday's session. The index is having one of its quietest day since the Flash Crash on August 25.

Earlier in the session, the index matched the pre-market low of 1927.50 and began to move higher. So far, it has found resistance ahead of the pre-market high 1949.25 only reaching 1945.75.

The top 10 components in the index are mixed. Leading the way on the upside is Microsoft Corporation MSFT shares which are trading higher by $0.25 at $43.54.

Leading the way on the downside is Wells Fargo WFC shares which are trading lower by $0.27 at $52.29.
