S&P 500 Index Futures Moving To Yet Another All-Time High

Joel Elconin is the co-host of Benzinga's #PreMarket Prep, a daily trading idea radio show. S&P 500 index futures were trading higher by three points at 2110 in Friday's session. After reaching an all-time high at 2104.50, it has come shy of that level in both the pre-market session, only reaching 2013.23, as well as in the regular session stalling at 2012.50. The index is being lead by it third-largest component, Microsoft Corporation MSFT which is trading higher by $3.10 at $46.44 after a Q1 earnings beat. The index posted a new all-time high in Thursday's session, barely exceeding its former all-time high close from March 2 at 2106.50, with a closing price of 2107. The SPDR S&P 500 ETF Trust SPY was trading at $211.48, up $0.27.
