N.Y. Cotton futures are trading steady May N.Y. Cotton is trading at 60.41, down 0.08. Market talk about weaker energy markets and below par export demand data has led to some selling .Chatter that Merchant buying on dips is making the rounds. Wet weather in the southern portions the U.S is starting to get some attention, some market talk is that some acreage may be lost due to wet conditions.
