Live Cattle Futures settle sharply higher - Hog Futures Higher

Live Cattle Futures settled sharply higher today. February Live Cattle settled at 165.00 up 2.52, April Live Cattle closed at 164.17 up 2.70. March Feeder Cattle settled the sharply higher day at 215.67 up 3.77. Lean Hogs were higher and trading was choppy. February Lean Hogs settled at 81.80 up 0.25, April Hogs settled at 84.65 up 0.45 and June was higher by 0.75 trading at 91.52. Some traders are expecting possible wide ranges and choppy trading to persist before the New Year's Holiday.
