We now have more than 10,000 pieces of equipment from tens of Shell assets successfully being monitored on the C3 AI ecosystem, as well as additional enterprise applications being scaled up," said Dan Jeavons, Vice President Computational Science and Digital Innovation at Shell.

The C3 AI Platform provides a means for clientele like Shell to swiftly and effortlessly construct custom applications tailored to specific use cases within the company.

Leveraging data science and programming tools, engineers can recycle features and components of machine-learning models, facilitating seamless interdepartmental collaboration and hastening the deployment of AI applications.

"Working this closely with C3 AI to create robust AI solutions that increase operational efficiency helps to reduce cost and improve reliability," Jeavons added.
