Bitcoin Falls Following PPI Data; Bonk, Frax Share Among Top Losers

Bitcoin BTC/USD moved lower, with the cryptocurrency prices trading below the key $46,000 level on Friday.

Ethereum ETH/USD, however, moved higher, trading above the key $2,600 mark this morning.

Producer prices in the U.S. fell 0.1% month-over-month in December, the same as in the prior month, and compared to market estimates of a 0.1% rise

FTX Token FTT/USD was the top gainer over the prior 24 hours, while Bonk BONK/USD turned out to be the biggest loser.

At the time of writing, the global crypto market cap fell to $1.77 trillion, recording a 24-hour decline of 2%. BTC was trading lower by 3.1% at $45,870 while ETH rose by around 0.8% to $2,676 on Friday.
