William Blair Increasing Estimates On Evercore (EVR)

William Blair & Co rates Evercore Partners Inc.

at Outperform after the company reported earnings. In the report the William Blair analyst notes, "We are increasing our third-quarter EPS estimate to $0.27 from $0.22, but lowering our fourth-quarter EPS estimate to $0.26 from $0.28 and our 2011 EPS estimate to $1.70 from $1.75. Our rating remains Outperform. We believe the shares are now at a much more appropriate level, with the recent sell-off and the resetting of expectations, although visibility is still somewhat lacking and our expectations remain below consensus." Shares of Evercore Partners are at $23.12, up 6 cents today.
