Keef Brands' Cannabis-Infused Sodas Coming To Minnesota Via Indeed Brewing Co.

Indeed Brewing Company announced the launch of an ongoing manufacturing and distribution partnership with Colorado-based cannabis company Keef Brands. The brewery will make and distribute the lineup of cannabis-infused Keef sodas. Keef’s Purple Passion, Orange Kush, and Bubba Kush Root Beer sodas are now available at the Indeed Brewing Company taproom in Northeast Minneapolis and in select retail stores across Minnesota.

“Keef is a longstanding brand rooted in the genesis of legal recreational cannabis that many at Indeed have long admired. So when the opportunity arose for us to work with Keef to bring their amazing lineup of THC-infused sodas to Minnesota, we jumped at the opportunity,” stated Tom Whisenand, owner and founder of Indeed Brewing Company. “We share a mutual commitment to both the quality of our products and the well-being of our consumers which makes us great partners.”

Kim Stolz, director of marketing and market development of Keef Brands, stated: “The opportunity to see the cannabis beverage space soar in traditional retail channels such as liquor and grocery stores is not only exciting but rewarding for the category. Its potential has so often been hindered due to the limitations of the industry so we are very fortunate to be working with local beverage leader Indeed Brewing Company. Their market reputation and focus on the delicate craft of producing quality beverages offers for a prosperous partnership.”

Keef’s cannabis-infused sodas contain 10mg of THC. Based in Boulder, Colo., Keef Brands has presence in 13 legal cannabis markets across North America.

“Minnesota may have provided this tremendous opportunity for cannabis drinks to really make their mark, however, we intend to sell our Delta-9 THC products within the state. We understand that even though this opens up a door for country-wide distribution, we do not want to bypass or diminish the hardships that every other cannabis market has and must endure to conduct business legally. We also want to respect the landscape that Minnesota has created for its residents and we do not want to take advantage of their unique marketplace either. The Keef drinks in Minnesota should be enjoyed by those in Minnesota,” stated Matt Baumgartner, president of Keef Brands.
